Mr. Davtyan is author of many chamber and symphonic works, pieces for Cinema, Ballets: For happiness, The girl and Death Such Music Editions like USSR Composer (Moscow), Luys (Yerevan), French Music Edition (Paris) has take Davtyans works to publish. His works were recorded also by different recording studios in Armenia, Russia, Latvia, USA, etc
Mr. Romen Davtyan is a Member of such unions like Composers Union of USSR, Composers Union of Armenia, Honored Member of Armenian Music Union, member of International Association of Contemporary Music (UNESCO), Member of Arts Association in Ministry of Culture of Armenia.
Also Mr. Davtyan is a Head of Armenia Great Britain Union.
Has worked as an Artistic Director of Armenian National Opera and Ballet Theatre
Has been a General Director of Armenian Culture Union Armconcert
Worked as Vice Minister of Culture of Republic of Armenia
Mr Davtyan has got a numerous Diplomas and Honoraries in Russia, Ukraine, and Armenia (1967, 1969, and 1971)
